Baby Girl,

As a way to savor this little life of ours, I decided it might be smart to find a way to document my thoughts, feelings, and adventures during this pregnancy and then in your life. So here goes an attempt at tackling a freakin BLOG! Not to say I haven't done it before, but lets be honest, blogging these days doesn't exactly seem like a "build me up/confidence boosting" kind of hobby. Did I just talk myself out of this.....?

Little lady, I have been waiting for you for what seems like an eternity. You my darling, are the most precious gift I have been given, and you're NOT EVEN HERE YET! But let me be frank, I don't exactly love being pregnant, no offense. I wish I could say I welcomed your aggressive destruction of my appetite there in the beginning, but I definitely was not a fan. Sadly, soda and I are on speaking terms again, and I can't seem to get enough protein. You eased up finally around 18 or 19 weeks, but I still have a hard time keeping down ice cream.... a blessing or not? So I can confidently say I will probably come out of this with a cavity or two...

About the same time you started to allow my food to digest you introduced me to your dancing skills. Girl, you can move. I especially enjoy laying in bed at night watching my stomach bounce. For some reason Brady has a hard time feeling you move. He argues that you hear me say his name and stop moving, but I know he's just impatient/weirded out, which I've accepted.... kinda.

Needless to say, we are excited for you to join our family. I promise to do my best to document this journey, the good and the bad, the fun and not so fun. As long as we have you I have a feeling things will be extraordinary!

love you.
