How is it possible to look awesome in one photo and then HORRIBLE in another...???

I am seriously considering a professional stylist. One who focuses on pregnancy do's and don'ts and is knowledgeable in the art of making sure you don't look ridiculous when participating in certain activities. Namely, active activities where your should have worn a better bra...

So do you not post the picture of you that you don't like because you don't like the way you look, or do you do it anyways because of the memory? Memory wins on this one. Case in point photo above.

Big Girl.

As an excuse to get out of the miserable, unlivable, sweltering heat of Arizona, there was a BABY SHOWER! I spent the last week or so in Park City, UT and boy oh boy was it heavenly. Thanks to borrowed frequent flyer miles, key word borrowed (ONE DAY I WILL HAVE A COMPANION PASS!!!), both Brady and I went up on a Thursday night. We spent the weekend hiking, spending time with his family, and best of all SHIVERING! Yes, yes, it was that cold!

Brady left Sunday, but lucky me, I got to hang out for the rest of the week! The real cherry on top was the arrival of my best girl Michelle from NYC. Having her, and the rest of my family all in Utah together was a dream. We ate and ate, thought about hiking, and then ate instead. Oh, we did go to the pool once, and one of the most hilarious sensations when pregnant is getting out of a pool! Going from weightless to full on beastly in a matter of seconds.... ehhhh lets just say my exit from the pool was a struggle and I may or may not have fallen backwards into the water (it's your right to create a video like image in your head of a person/whale falling backwards into a 4ft deep pool).

The baby shower was Saturday, and i'm telling you, this was the most amazing experience thus far in pregnancy. There is something magical about seeing the people you love get excited about your baby. Suddenly everything you're going through seems tolerable, and you realize how extremely loved your baby is/will be. It takes a village, and I am seriously lucky for the one I have.
